2017 will likely go down as one of our favorites to date, both personally and in this world of photography! It’s so fun to be learning and growing together as a team, meeting new people and exploring beautiful places. I was staying pretty up to speed on blogging until wedding season hit hard and then I focused all my attention and energy on making sure our clients’ got their pictures back as fast as possible! Between shooting, editing, consults, albums and travels, let’s just say I have a LOT of catching up to do over here in the months ahead (and I can not WAIT). I figure we might as well get the biggest post out of the way first: my very top favorites from this last year. But this, friends, was no. easy. feat.

There are dozens and dozens of photos that I cut and am still dying to share (and will be soon), but in interest of not turning this post into a bigger bear than it already is, I was pi-ckyyy.

Another thing that’s grown this year is how much Ben and I have gotten to shoot together! He brings an invaluable set of skills with him when he comes, plus it’s like we get a scheduled-in date, so who can complain about that?! Okay, okay, no more waiting — I give you: the best of 2017…
