Somewhere over the course of a decade shaping wedding collections, I started adding complimentary engagement sessions across the board for every. single. client. Now, years later, this is still one of my very favorite parts of the photography experience! The value of getting to spend an hour or more with the future bride and groom in a low-stress, carefree environment where they have the opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day is incredible! Plus, we have generous amounts of time for both the traditional poses and creative play – a luxury not every wedding timeline allows.

Davis and Rachel were just the right couple to usher in early spring sessions on the coast… there may have been a chilly breeze off the ocean, but can you believe this is what February looks like in North Carolina?!
