I first met Justin and Emily for a winter family session earlier this year and knew I would love working with this sweet family right away! We’d postponed a couple times due to the freezing temperatures, but it seemed the weather had us tricked when we finally met up and the wind took over, cutting our session short!

After delivering a small gallery of what we were able to capture in spite of the frigid temperatures, I asked if they’d be willing to come out for another session after their baby girl was born, when the weather was a tad friendlier. 🙂 They happily agreed and when Luella Lee joined their family, we made arrangements to meet and finish their pictures in the sunshine! I could not have asked for a more lovely evening with the Smiths – just enough sun, lush greens, no bugs and a warm breeze helped make this session one of my top favorites so far this year!
