Wedding season has officially BEGUN over here!! If you follow along on Instagram, you probably saw that I’d set aside the last couple months to work on a multi-page list of business to-dos I wanted to get ahead of, spend more time with family and give that creative energy space to rest and grow. I think especially for creatives it’s really important to give yourself permission to step back and re-energize. You need something to draw from inside to create beauty over and over again, because being a photographer, at least for me, is so much more than just capturing exactly what’s happening.

It’s curating the day to look how it FELT.

It’s seeing the best in each moment and knowing how to reflect those feelings on camera.

It’s capturing the wedding like I imagine the bride would want to if she were a photographer…
