Just as any bride will tell you her wedding is the product of the time, love and abilities of MANY people in their lives, a proposal this special rarely comes together without the planning and attention of dear friends of the couple – as well as talented vendors such as Britany from Seaside Charcuterie (is this not the loveliest setup?)!
Ilona’s best friend, Rachel, reached out with all the thoughtful details and questions weeks ahead of time and after an exchange of a few emails, we were on a conference call with Nick, who determined and oversaw every element moving forward – from ensuring the charcuterie picnic was idyllic, to selecting a beautiful airbnb for the weekend, to his preferred proposal location along Wrightsville Beach and a highly recommended restaurant for their celebration dinner afterwards. Oh, and he of course took care of the proposal itself… and a ring.
In spite of multiple location changes due to beach replenishing work AND a looming, rainy forecast, Nick successfully and completely surprised Ilona (who thought she was meeting friends for a weekend getaway due to a carefully crafted group chat!) with an unforgettably special proposal…
Congratulations, Nick and Ilona on the beautiful start to a new season of life together!! I’m beyond thrilled for you and hope your memories here in Wilmington hold a cherished place in your hearts forever.
Want to see another proposal? Here’s one in Fort Fisher…
