Three years ago, I flew to Charlotte, NC, to shoot this beautiful couple’s wedding and hinted to them that Ben and I may be moving from South Dakota to a place MUCH closer to them one day. That day finally came and now we’re 1,100 miles closer!!!

This Valentine’s Day, Samuel gifted Sarah a brand new portrait collection after three years of marriage together (husbands / boyfriends, take note!!) and they came down for fresh pictures with a little southern charm near our new home by Wilmington in the setting of one of our all-time favorite places: the quaint, coastal town of Southport, NC. If you’ve been there once, you KNOW what a gem it is… it’s impossible to forget how you feel breathing in the salubrious ocean breeze as you walk maritime streets lined with picket fences and hear seagulls flying overhead. Throw in a beach cruiser bike with a fresh bouquet from Mother of Wild and it was the perfect setting for these two! I’m so excited to share some of my favorites with you…
