I may or may not have had inside intel that Brooklyn was soon-to-be engaged before Tayler ever popped the question… so when the day finally came and we all got to see that beautiful ring, I was SO incredibly happy for them!!! Maybe even happier when she messaged me over on Instagram and asked about booking her wedding. 😉 I’ve been looking forward to their engagement pictures ever since, and earlier this week we met up and I got to meet these two in person after dozens of emails!

I shot a quick message over to Brooklyn to ask what she would think about the idea of incorporating a swing into her pictures and she loved the idea as much as I did, so we made it happen! Ben and I made a stop at Menards over the weekend where we picked up a 1×8 piece of Aspen and some rope, and then we just sprayed on some white paint, drilled four holes, twisted the rope through and braided in some floral vines. Voila! It was so perfect for Brooklyn’s dress and flower crown and the sun even came out for some glorious golden light just in time.
